Much more content remains in my virtual drawer and might be uploaded here gradually. For someone outside the discipline, I wrote quite extensively, considering that it was mostly driven by personal inquiry, not the prospect of publication. The sheer advancement of my thinking – of how I grappled with the questions that most deeply troubled me over time – is interesting to me now, rather than the quality of these writings. Though years have passed, the same creative anguish that marked my early academic output and endured years later at my midnight screen remains vivid. It is still with me – that discomforting drive, renewed and potent with every fresh engagement. I feel I am smarter. But have I made progress? Have I gone farther? Have I built something? Or have I merely honed the perspective that was there from the outset (cleared a lot of trash from my mind’s eye but not much else)? These texts may certainly hold a clue.
